I need to get out of debt fast how do i do it my credit sucks badly now?
I have some debt and i need to get out of it. I am having a baby and i want to reestablish my credit for the future how would i handle this I need serious help. I am okay at saving money but when i got my credit cards a few years ago i went overboard some are in collections =( how do i fix this mess i got myself into.

- consolidate all your debts. use cccs at www.moneymanagement.org. they will negotiate your rate to almost nil with your creditors. cut all your current credit cards. use cash only.
- Get rid of th ethings you THINK you need. Examples: Sat TV Cable TV Cell Phone High Speed Interenet (except where you can get 128K for 30 a month or less. Move into cheaper rent. IE move from apartment or sell house buy less expensive one.. Buy a car pay cash and get rid of your car payment.. get the picture/?

- There are some great companies out there please be aware of the pros and cons on each and every program anything you do except pay your creditors 100% will hit your credit for a while. Credit can be rebuilt. . If you have collections you certainly do not want to place them in a program that will charge you more interest then what you have already paid or secure that debt to something when it is unsecured and already has shown on your credit report.
